The Inflation Reduction Act is passing.

What Did Joe Manchin Get for $433 Billion?

The Inflation Reduction Act is passing, what did Joe Manchin get for 433 Billion? He answers that Democratic leaders have “committed to advancing a suite of commonsense permitting reforms this fall that will ensure all energy infrastructure, from the transmission to pipelines and export facilities, can be efficiently and responsibly built.”

Big if true, as they say. That promise to Mr. Manchin is going to cost Americans $433 billion in spending and $327 billion in taxes. The country desperately needs streamlined permitting for building- of all kinds, energy included. The Northeast is a natural-gas bottleneck. Export terminals could fuel European allies and break Vladimir Putin’s leverage. But nobody outside the negotiating room seems to know what specific “reforms” are in play. Mr. Manchin’s office isn’t rushing out answers.

Final Thoughts:

What Did Joe Manchin Get for $433 Billion? It wouldn’t be unfeasible to assume considering

His answer is that Democratic leaders have:

“committed to advancing a suite of commonsense permitting reforms this fall that will ensure all energy infrastructure, from the transmission to pipelines and export facilities, can be efficiently and responsibly built.”

Also, keep in mind:

The Northeast is a natural-gas bottleneck. Export terminals could fuel European allies and break Vladimir Putin’s leverage.

Neither really helping with Global Warming/Climate Change. It may ease Inflation here and abroad to build streamlined oil, coal, and natural gas exports to Europe from the U.S. NorthEast.

This would create jobs in building these “infrastructures,” ease gas prices here further and possibly help with the War in Ukraine.

The Inflation Reduction Act gets Heavily Invested in Fossil Fuel Industry Joe Manchin likely millions+ from the fossil fuel industry including from Big Stake in Coal Company run by his Son, other Investments, etc.

West Virginia/Joe Manchin:

The point is: West Virginia may not be on the East Coast but it is Smak Dab between two Coastlines/Ports Of Entry/Exit -Import/Export(s).

All of the “infrastructure” built to ease The Northeast’s “natural-gas bottleneck” will certainly include
the building-like transmission of/for other fossil energies Heavily out of West Virginia and Fuiling Several upon Several Income Streams directly into Joe Manchin & his Son’s pockets.

Let’s not forget: Manchin’s Senate campaign also benefited from a flood of political contributions from the energy industry in recent months and the Deal/Bargain he made sure to increase exponentially the desire to make “political contributions” in the days, months, and years to come.

The Inflation Reduction Act has many crucial benefits yet to be fully realized.

Yet, it comes at a cost to an in effect “Pay Out” to Joe Manchin, The Fossil Fuel Industry, and Further Detrimental Cost to our Climate/Our Planet/Our Home.

There are plenty of Youtube videos out there on how to clean an Ant Farm though pretty sure it wouldn’t work the same way for Cleaning Our Living Globe.
